Terms of Service

1. The Service

The App lets you browse the Shop's products, place orders and reserve a pickup time. The sale is completed at the shop at pickup: the App does not handle payments.

2. Account

• An account is required to order, created via Sign in with Apple or Google.
• You agree to provide accurate information and not to use another person's account.
• You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account.
• The Operator or the Shop may suspend or block accounts in case of misuse (e.g. repeatedly uncollected orders or abusive behaviour), informing you where possible.

3. Orders and Prices

• Submitting an order through the App is a request to prepare the products for pickup at the selected time.
• Products sold by weight cannot be cut to the exact gram: the price shown in the App when ordering is an estimate based on the requested quantity and the indicated price per kg.
• The final price is determined by the actual weight measured at the shop and is shown in the App when the order is completed. Any deviation from the requested quantity is the reasonable variance inherent in artisanal cutting.
• Product availability may vary: the Shop may contact you or cancel the order if a product is unavailable.

4. Payment

Payment takes place exclusively at the shop upon pickup, using the payment methods accepted by the Shop. The App neither collects nor processes payment data.

5. Pickup, Cancellation and No-Show

• Pickup takes place at the selected time slot, during the Shop's opening hours.
• You can cancel an order in the App up to 2 hours before the pickup time. After that, preparation may already be underway: please contact the Shop directly.
• In case of repeated no-shows without notice, the Shop may take this into account when accepting future orders.
• As fresh food products prepared to your specification, completed orders are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code / Art. 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU. Statutory conformity guarantees remain unaffected.

6. Notifications

The App may send you push notifications about your order status (received, preparing, ready, completed, cancelled). Notifications are optional and can be disabled in your device settings; if disabled, you may not receive timely pickup updates.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, interfere with the operation of the service, or attempt to access restricted data or functions.

8. Intellectual Property

The App belongs to Nari Information; the "Macelleria Mazzucchi" name and brand belong to the Shop and are used with its consent. Related content is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for the purposes described here.

9. Liability

The Operator strives to keep the App working but does not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for damages arising from temporary unavailability of the service or events beyond its reasonable control. Liability for the products and the sale rests with the Shop. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights under Italian and EU law.

10. Changes

The Operator may update these terms by publishing the new version on this page. Material changes will be flagged in the App or through other suitable means. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile. Recourse to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures provided by applicable law remains available.
